Diagnosis. Body long, linear, length up to 7mm; 0.4mm wide for 29-35 chaetigers; colour in alcohol white to pale yellow, with ventral groove throughout the body (Plate 1a). Prostomium conical, blunt at the tip, with tear-shaped palpode (Plate 1b). Branchiae from chaetiger 2 (Plate 1b) until the end of the body except for the last 4 chaetigers; branchiae slender, first 10 pairs largest then getting progressively smaller. Anal tube long, cylindrical, terminating in a circlet of small subequal papillae (Plate 1c), with one longer papilla on ventral side.
