Aricidea pisanoi Montiel and Hilbig, 2004

Voucher. Vinson West: Station 4 MFA.

Diagnosis. Small, slender bodied species; voucher incomplete, 11.5mm long and 0.35mm wide for 63 chaetigers. Triangular prostomium, with antenna of median length, reaching to chaetiger 3. Long digiform branchiae (17 pairs in FI voucher specimen), length and form of notopodial lobes. Importantly absence of any modified neurochaetae (in 63 segments), all neurochaetae are capillaries only.

Remarks. This specimen agrees well with Aricidea pisanoi described in detail by Montiel and Hilbig (2004) from southern Chile.
